Day Trip to Magnolia Silos

This past weekend, Wanderlust Amigas Travel took a delightful trip to Waco, Texas, with a group of 8 women and 4 kids to explore the famous Magnolia Market and Silos, the brainchild of Chip and Joanna Gaines. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for our adventure—sunny with a gentle breeze, making the day even more enjoyable.

We arrived at Magnolia Market to find it bustling with excitement. Visitors from all over were shopping for home goods, taking photos in front of the iconic silos, sightseeing, and, of course, waiting in line for the famous Magnolia Bakery. The sense of community and joy was in the air as people gathered to enjoy everything the market had to offer.

Our group explored the beautifully curated shops, with many taking the opportunity to grab unique finds and home décor pieces inspired by Joanna’s timeless designs. The kids had a blast too, running around the open lawn area, playing games, and taking in the lively atmosphere.

Next, we made our way to Magnolia Table, a must-visit for any Waco trip. While reservations aren’t required, they are highly recommended if you want to secure a table inside. However, we decided to opt for the to-go dining option, which allowed us to grab our delicious meals quickly. We enjoyed our food on the covered patio area outside, savoring every bite while chatting and soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

It was a day filled with laughter, bonding, and shared experiences. For both first-time visitors and repeat guests, Magnolia Market and the Silos offer something special for everyone, and this trip was no exception.
